Laboratory automation: questions & answers

Practical answers about scope, integration and project planning.

What does LabFlux provide?

LabFlux Intelligence Ltd provides flexible high-throughput laboratory automation for materials R&D. Its engineering scope combines instrument adaptation, robotic operations, workflow control and system integration.

Can we start with one workstation?

Yes. A project can start with a reagent preparation, sample processing, high-throughput reaction, or sampling and characterization workstation. Further stages can be integrated as the experimental workflow and R&D plan require.

Can existing instruments be integrated?

Existing or newly purchased instruments can be assessed for integration using available interfaces, fixtures, robot end effectors and necessary modifications. Compatibility and automation scope are established for each instrument and experimental method.

What is the role of researchers?

Robots handle repetitive transfers and operations. Researchers retain method adjustments, material replenishment and key decisions. Workflow software coordinates instruments and human handoffs.

What specifications apply to the powder dispenser?

The dispenser uses balance feedback for coarse dosing, fine dosing and final top-ups. Dosing range, repeatability, throughput and suitable tooling must be established for the actual powder, container and validation conditions. No universal accuracy or throughput is stated on this site.

Do project examples and images describe a standard product?

No. Research examples refer to specific collaborations, with scientific results belonging to the named research teams. Engineering visualizations illustrate proposed configurations. Images labeled concept design explore prospective directions and do not describe released products or validated performance.
